Whilst Opcenter APS is running, the following message appears:

Lost license, cannot re-connect: Licensed number of users already reached.

This message can show, when inside the Sequencer for example.

Solution

This error is believed to occur due to an issue with the third-party vendor software Flexera's (revenera) software toolkit that is used for Opcenter APS licensing, as described in this knowledge base article:

Although the third-party vendor reports this issue as resolved in 11.18.3.0, Opcenter APS 2204 uses this version and the issue still seems to exist. The third-party vendor has been contacted regarding this problem and updated information will be added to this knowledge base article when it is received.
